The Parks and Public Spaces Operations Facility project involved the renovation, site work, and hardening of the property located at 1840 NE 144th Street, North Miami. This facility was completed in 2021 and has since been in active use by Village staff. The project included structural hardening to meet Category 5 hurricane-rated standards, a complete roof replacement, and improvements to ensure resiliency against storm events. Additionally, the facility was outfitted with furniture, fixtures, and dedicated storage space to support displaced operational functions. With these upgrades, the facility enhances the Village’s emergency preparedness and response capabilities while providing essential workspace for operational teams.
