Once the Building Permit is issued, a list of required inspections will be outlined on the Permit card. To ensure the work is done according to the approved plans and applicable Building Codes, the appropriate discipline will inspect the work. The permit holder (owner/builder or contractor) is responsible to request each inspection.
The Building Department Inspection Schedule
Effective June 6, 2022:
- Plan Reviews and Inspections will be performed for Building, Roofing, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Plan Reviews and Inspections for Public Works/Utilities will be performed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Plans Reviews and Inspections for Zoning will be performed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
