Miami-Dade County’s Office of Community Advocacy in partnership with Miami Diaper Bank are seeking diaper donations to support families in need.
Miami Diaper Bank fills a gap in services by connecting diapers and baby essentials to vulnerable families, providing immediate relief and raising awareness about diaper needs in South Florida. As our local communities continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic hardships, Bal Harbour Village is proud to support our County’s initiative.

- 1 in 3 families struggle to afford diapers for their babies
- Diapers cost $100 – $120 a month, per baby
- Government assistance programs such as Food Stamps and WIC does not provide funding
- 34 percent of families cut down on food and child care to buy diapers
- Diaper need impacts the physical, mental and economic well-being of children and parents
- Florida child care centers require parents to provide a day’s supply of disposable diapers
