Upcoming Lane Closures for Construction Project

Beginning tentatively the week of June 22, 2025, Whiting-Turner Contracting will commence construction of the Collins & Harding Roadway Re-Alignment project. Traffic patterns will be modified along southbound Collins Avenue / Harding Avenue, between 96th Street and 9800 Block, to facilitate the upcoming construction activities. (Temporary MOT may be implemented the week of June 15th for preconstruction activities.) The westernmost southbound lane will be closed. Each of the small sections will be reopened to traffic upon completion. Construction at each of these small sections will require 24-hour-lane closures, for extended durations of time. The overall duration for all of the small areas combined, as identified below, will be approximately (4) months.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Lane Closure will remain in place around the clock, 24 hours per day, for the safety of the public.
We ask that pedestrians and drivers adhere to all construction signs and proceed with caution.
Two lanes will remain open at all times during construction, along southbound Collins Avenue / Harding Avenue.
Normal work hours will be from 9PM to 6AM.
