This lively reception will celebrate the MOCA’s fall exhibitions, to include: Andrea Chung: “Between Too Late and Too Early”, featuring works across multiple mediums investigating the colonial as it relates to motherhood; Blackness, the impact of trauma and the imagination; Smita Sen: “Embodied”, which explores the artist’s use of her dance-based performances incorporated into her sculptures and drawings; and Nicole Salcedo: “Earth Gate”, as part of MOCA’s Art on The Plaza series, featuring an anthropomorphic gate, intricately carved to represent a face, which is the artist’s interpretation of the spirit of nature.
Guests will also enjoy live music and refreshments while touring the exhibitions. A special performance with exhibiting artist Smita Sen, accompanied by violinist Trina Basu, will take place at 8:30 p.m.

REGISTRATION
Bal Harbour residents and hotel guests receive complimentary access to a selection of top art fairs and events. Registration opens Friday, November 22 at noon.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents must have a valid All Access Card to reserve their tickets. Hotel guests must present a valid hotel reservation.
