Join us for a special Unscripted Art Tour at the iconic Freedom Tower. This immersive experience features Libertad, an exhibition spanning two floors that captures the spirit of Miami through multimedia installations, personal stories, and historic artifacts. Guests will explore the building’s legacy as a beacon of hope and resilience for generations of immigrants.

Additional exhibitions include:

Languages of Migration – an interactive exploration of global migration through maps and storytelling

Unidad: The World’s Game – a dynamic exhibition celebrating soccer as a unifying global force

Designated a National Historic Landmark, the Freedom Tower played a vital role in supporting Cuban exiles in the 1960s and 1970s, earning the nickname “El Refugio” as it provided essential resources to those beginning new lives in the United States.

The tour is open to Bal Harbour residents and hotel guests. Cost is $5 per person, and includes transportation to and from the museum. A light reception will be offered at the park beginning at 12:30 pm. Transportation to the venue will depart at 1 pm, the tour will begin at 2 pm, and we expect to arrive back at the park at 4:30 pm.

Guests staying at one of our four Bal Harbour hotels can conveniently register by calling 305.993.7444 or by emailing events@balharbourfl.gov. Please include your complete name, email address, number of guests in your party, and which hotel you are staying at. Proof of hotel key or reservation will be requested at check-in.
