The Lowe Art Museum’s newest exhibit explores the topics of resilience, strength, and women’s rights through a range of conceptual approaches by eleven contemporary artists. Discover the impact as we are guided through “She’s a Knockout: Sport, Gender, and the Body in Contemporary Art.”

Light refreshments will be provided at the museum beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by the guided tour at 12 p.m.

Transportation will be provided. Attendees will meet at the Bal Harbour Waterfront Park (18 Bal Bay Drive, Bal Harbour FL, 33154) and travel together to the museum.

This event is open for Bal Harbour residents and hotel guests. Reservations are $5 per person, plus applicable credit card fees.

ART TOUR SCHEDULE
10 AM Guest check-in begins.
10:30 AM Bus departs for Lowe Art Museum
11:30 AM Bus arrives at Lowe Art Museum; reception begins
12 PM Reception ends; Guided tour begins
1 PM Guided tour ends and bus departs.
2 PM Bus arrives back at Bal Harbour Waterfront Park

Guests staying at one of our four Bal Harbour hotels can conveniently register by calling 305.993.7444 or by emailing events@balharbourfl.gov. Please include your complete name, email address, number of guests in your party, and which hotel you are staying at. Payment is due before the event.

About the Exhibit
This exhibition features works by eleven contemporary artists from around the globe to explore how these individuals engage with topics such as resilience, strength, labor, and much more.

Artists featured in this exhibition are Bianca Argimón, Libby Black, Zoë Buckman, Monica Kim Garza, Riikka Hyvonen, Sophie Kirchner, Eddie Lanieri, Hazel Meyer, Fay Sanders, Sheena Rose, and Kawita Vatanajyankur.
