Project Overview
Florida Power & Light (FP&L) will perform maintenance on an 8-inch electrical pipe under the Herman B. Fultz Bridge that connects Bal Harbour Village to Haulover Park. The pipe is showing signs of weathering, and this project will protect it from the elements and extend its lifespan.

How long will this project take?
The project is scheduled from April 23, 2026, to May 30, 2026.
What are the hours and days of work?
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Some Saturdays may occur with prior approval (72-hour notice required).
Will the parking spaces be closed 24 hours per day?
- Monday – Friday: 24-hour closure for safety
- Weekends: Spaces reopen after Friday’s work
- Saturday work is possible with prior approval
Why do you need to take the parking spaces?
To ensure the safety of staff and the public while the work is ongoing.
Why can’t you work faster?
We are working at a pace that is as safe as possible while returning the area to normal as soon as we can.
Will you make loud noise on Saturday or Sunday?
No. There will be no louder noises than what you normally hear in the community.
Where are my friends and contractors supposed to park?
We apologize for the inconvenience and ask you to anticipate reduced parking during the project period.
