Recreation, Arts & Culture

This department was established to create and implement programs, activities, and events that elevate the quality of life for the residents of Bal Harbour, while also positioning the Village as a unique and cultural destination for visitors and guests. This department hosts special events throughout the year, including the Sounds by the Sea Music Series, Movie Nights, and our annual Independence Day Celebration. All events are open to both Bal Harbour residents and hotel guests.

The Bal Harbour Waterfront Park is now open for normal operating hours. We invite you to visit the park, join a demo class, and explore the many amenities available including the playgrounds, fitness stations, and basketball court. You can also stop by the main lobby to register for your All Access Card.

This highly anticipated park on 1.5 acres includes an open lawn, a performance area, fitness stations, a basketball court, two playgrounds, a splash pad, and a 15,000 square foot community center. The community center consists of multi-purpose spaces that can be utilized for events and recreation programming, as well as an indoor playground for toddlers, and houses the administrative offices for the Recreation, Arts & Culture Department.

We welcome you to join us in the new year at the brand-new Bal Harbour Village Waterfront Park for a series of demo programs. These tailor-made sessions are crafted specifically to cater to the interests and needs of the Bal Harbour community. Experience a number of programs that promise to bring a diverse range of activities for our residents. Registration for these programs is now open for all Bal Harbour residents.
