Join us as we bring Miami Art Week to Bal Harbour. This original exhibit, with renowned contemporary artist, Igal Fedida, will be hosted at the Bal Harbour Waterfront Park. The exhibit, entitled “The Art of Letters: Journey Into Being” will showcase various original pieces, incorporating construction materials, such as woods, metals, and unconventional paints, to represent the complex and universal human pursuit of spiritual truth.
Renowned contemporary artist Igal Fedida takes visitors on a thought-provoking journey with The Art of Letters: Journey Into Being. Using construction materials such as wood, metal, and unconventional paints, Fedida’s pieces explore humanity’s universal pursuit of spiritual truth and balance.
Each artwork stands as a fragment of the mind’s workbook, capturing life’s lessons and the struggle between order and chaos. The exhibit delves into the dualities of human existence—good and evil, nature and divinity—challenging viewers to reflect on their own place in this ongoing quest for harmony.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Igal Fedida is a visionary artist whose work reflects the intersection of his Jewish-Moroccan heritage and the universal human pursuit of spiritual truth. From an early age, his innate connection to the arts allowed him to channel a unique energy into his creative process. Fedida describes painting as an act of surrender, where an unseen force guides his brush, resulting in deeply evocative and meaningful works.
After studying photography at UCLA, Igal traveled the world, capturing the beauty of nature through innovative techniques that blended Polaroid and watercolor. His artistic evolution culminated in the integration of raw structural materials—wood, metal, and unconventional paints—into his creations. These elements became a metaphor for the act of creation itself, as his works transformed into visual prayers that explore humanity’s connection to God and the cosmos.
One of Igal’s defining series, Genesis, combines vibrant colors and building materials to delve into the mysteries of creation. Inspired by Biblical, Talmudic, and Kabbalistic texts, the series examines themes such as the Big Bang and Adam & Eve, offering a chromatic meditation on existence. Each piece reflects a lifetime of soul-searching, blending theory, allegory, and personal spirituality.
Now based in Miami, Igal operates a gallery that serves as both a creative space and a gathering place for the community. When not absorbed in his art, he can be found discussing his work over green tea or hosting events and lectures. His gallery welcomes visitors, showcases his latest works, and provides a venue for connection, education, and inspiration.
