Collins & Harding Avenue Re-alignment Project
Phase 2 Begins Sunday, February 1
Beginning the first week of February 2026, Whiting-Turner Contracting will commence construction on Phase 2 (along the median) of the Collins & Harding Roadway Re-Alignment project. Traffic patterns will be modified along northbound & southbound Collins Avenue / Harding Avenue, between 96 Street and the 9800 block, to facilitate the upcoming construction activities (see below graphic). Temporary MOT will be implemented to facilitate traffic flow. The lanes surrounding the median will be closed. Each of the small sections will be reopened to traffic upon completion. Construction at each section will require 24-hour lane closures, for extended durations of time. The overall duration for this phase, as identified below, will be approximately five (5) months.

- Two lanes will remain open at all times during construction, along northbound and southbound Colins Avenue / Harding Avenue.
- Normal work hours will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
