As the New Village Hall project moves into the design phase, plans are underway to repurpose the site of the existing Village Hall, which will be demolished upon completion of the new facility. Based on resident input, a Recreation Center has been identified as the preferred use for this space. Preliminary concepts propose a ground-floor parking area serving the facility, with a second-floor open-air or enclosed multipurpose recreation space to accommodate various community activities. Additional programming analysis is required to assess community needs and funding options. The Schematic/Concept Analysis phase will align with the New Village Hall’s construction timeline, ensuring a seamless transition between the relocation of staff and the initiation of the Recreation Center’s development.
