Vice Mayor Seth Salver represents District 1 on the Bal Harbour Village Council. Born and raised in South Florida, Seth Salver was elected to the Bal Harbour Village Council in November 2014 at the age of 26 and selected to serve as Vice Mayor in 2016. In the fall of 2006 Seth began his studies at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was an active member of the university community. During his junior year, Seth was selected by the Provost to serve as a member of the Student Honor Council, where he served as a presiding officer at regular judicial hearings.
During his final semester at Maryland, Seth was awarded the Senior Marshall Award, conferred by the dean of the Business school recognizing his strong academic record and his contributions to the university community. Seth graduated with honors in May of 2010 with a bachelor of science in accounting.
Seth began his public accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), in Washington, DC, and is currently certified to practice in Florida and Virginia. At PwC, Seth facilitated the financial statement audits for various public and private companies. Seth is currently a Partner at Salver + Salver, LLP.
Seth and his wife Perla, an elementary school teacher, welcomed their daughter Anna Rebeca in October of 2016.
